Milwaukee CASA- Our Signature Project

After an extensive search process, the JLM designated In Their Best Interests (ITBI)/Milwaukee CASA as our new Signature Project. The Junior League of Milwaukee has committed $90,000 to be disbursed over three years to the Signature Project to celebrate our 90th year, 2005-2006.

JLM and CASA Leaders hold up check from JLM to CASA for $90,000 to support CASA programming. The committee is responsible for furthering the development and establishment of the Signature Project for the JLM. The purpose of this committee is to develop a Signature Project that will provide In Their Best Interests/Milwaukee CASA with a significant monetary and volunteer commitment from the JLM to expand an existing community CASA program and create a new facility in which CASA volunteers and ITBI clients can meet and work. The Junior League of Milwaukee will be a founding partner in the development of the new facility, which will meet a need currently unmet in the Milwaukee community.

The dual goals of the Signature Project are to facilitate the opening of the new multi-use center and to enable Milwaukee CASA to serve as many children as possible. The Signature Project Committee will measure how many foster children are successfully served each year with the help of the Junior League of Milwaukee.
