The use of the Junior League of Milwaukee (“JLM”) website (the "Website") is subject to the following terms and conditions and applicable federal and state laws. When a user accesses the Website, that user agrees to these terms and conditions. The JLM may, from time to time, revise or amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

Links to Other Websites
The Website may contain links to other parties’ websites, which have been established as a convenience to the users of the Website. The JLM is not responsible for any content of any website linked to or from the Website, and the JLM does not guarantee the information contained on those websites is accurate. In addition, the existence of a link does not connote endorsement, sponsorship, or any affiliation with the JLM or the Website nor does it guarantee that the information they contain is accurate.

Privacy
In order to assist the JLM in its endeavors, and in administering and improving the Website, the Website and its web servers collect domain names and/or IP addresses of users to assess what pages and features are accessed by its visitors. However, in doing so, the JLM does not link IP addresses to personally identifiable information.

Specific sections of the Website require users to accept cookies. The JLM uses cookies only to enhance its visitors’ convenience in using the Website and to improve search functionality, such as holding information that a user would otherwise be required to re-key. Users may configure their web browser so that it does not accept cookies. However, in doing so, the user may lose certain functions available on the Website.

The JLM has a separate privacy policy stated below. However, other websites linked to the Website may have different privacy policies and practices. As such, users should become familiar with each individual website’s policies and practices.

The JLM honors the intellectual property rights of the various individuals and entities who contribute to the Website. As such, the Website and the images and text contained on the Website are protected by applicable federal and international copyright laws. The intellectual property rights contained on the Website are owned by the JLM or used by the JLM with the permission of the owner. When a visitor accesses the Website, that user agrees not to use any portion of the Website, including any images or text contained on the Website, except with written permission of the JLM or as allowed by intellectual property law.

The trademarks, trade names, logos and service marks displayed on the Website, including "Junior League of Milwaukee," and "JLM" and applicable logos are trademarks of JLM, or the Association of Junior Leagues International Inc. They are protected by federal, state and international trademark laws. The Website also contains trademarks owned by third parties. When a visitor accesses the Website, that user agrees not to use any trademark, trade name, logo, or service mark contained on the Website without the written permission from the owner of the trademark, trade name, logo, or service mark.

If a user is interested in obtaining permission to use any intellectual property contained on the Website, please contact the JLM office at (414) 289-9242. The JLM considers requests for permission on a case-by-case basis. In addition, depending on the intended use of the intellectual property, the JLM may require payment of a license fee.

The JLM is not responsible for damages of any kind including, but not limited to, compensatory, special, incidental, exemplary, lost profits, loss of revenue, and/or consequential damages arising out of the user’s access to or inability to access the Website, or the use of or reliance upon the Website or the content hereof.

The JLM has no duty to update the Website, or the contents contained on the Website. As such, the JLM is not responsible for any failure to update such information. In addition, the JLM is not responsible for the user’s utilization of other websites that the user may access by way of links within the Website.

Reservation of Rights
The JLM, in its sole discretion, retains the right to pursue all of its legal remedies, as necessary. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions of Use is found to be invalid, such provision shall deemed deleted without impairing or prejudicing the validity, legality and enforceability of the remaining provisions.

These Terms and Conditions of Use constitute the entire representation made by the JLM relating to the Website.

Jurisdiction
The Website’s terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Wisconsin. Each party agrees to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Wisconsin.

Privacy Policy
The JLM is sensitive to the fact that security is a primary concern of the Website’s users. Visitors may use the Website without disclosing any personally identifying information. However, the information that users of the Website provide to the JLM, including their name, address, e-mail address, and credit card information, is transmitted securely to encrypt data during transmission for the user’s protection. The JLM does not sell its member list, but does use its member list, with the approval of the Board of Directors, for various purposes. In those instances, the information shared is the member’s name and address. To be removed from the member list, please notify the Junior League of Milwaukee office in writing at 1060 East Juneau Avenue, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, 53202.
