Member Requirements
Active members must annually
fulfill the following requirements:
Required Items:
- Complete Registration Process
- Volunteer Placement (one or more of the following)
- Committee Member
- Leader (Chair or Board Position)
- Special Assignment (i.e. Nomination Committee)
- External Community Placement
- Cross-Functional Work Group Participation
- Attend Annual Voting Meeting or Vote by Proxy
Elective Items:
- Active Plus Status
- Attend Membership meetings
- Participation in Other Activity/Event Designated by President or Director (i.e. Training Workshop)
- Community Shift organized by JLM
- Fundraising Shift organized by JLM
- Attendance at an approved Fundraising Event
- Recruitment of a New Member who Completes New Member Orientation and becomes and Active Member
- Secure Sponsorship of a JLM Fundraising Event
- Personally Sponsor a JLM Fundraising Event
- Donate Meeting or Event Space
- Contribution to JLM Annual Campaign
- Purchase of an Occasion to Gather Cookbook
- Volunteer Service Award (VSA) Hours
VSA Hours may be earned by participating in the following:
- Preparing for Committee/Board Meetings
- Attending Committee/Board Meetings
- Attending Membership Meetings or Training Workshops
- Working a Fundraising Event
- Working a Community Shift
