For more than 100 years, the Junior League of Milwaukee has been a driver of change in the Greater Milwaukee area. Today, we are 500+ members strong, united in the mission of developing women, promoting voluntarism and improving our community to tackle Milwaukee’s most urgent and pressing needs.
How do we do it? Through training and opportunities for active engagement, women are equipped with skills, knowledge and confidence to be become Milwaukee’s volunteer leaders of tomorrow. Learning occurs during events, committee meetings, and volunteering with community partners. Using skills learned through the Junior League, volunteers are able to give back to the Milwaukee community in many ways: as educated community members, developers of needed programs, engaged board members, and drivers of change.
In order to effectively implement our mission, the Junior League of Milwaukee works with many local organizations, including, but not limited to:
Centennial community partner: Catherine’s Residence/Safe Home Environment
Sojourner Family Peace Center
Curative Care Network
Versiti/Blood Center of Wisconsin
